Thai Shack East Restaurant Opens in Selden

Thai Shack East, a new take-out Thai place has opened in Selden and it’s been garnering great reviews online.

 

Specials include Kyties Fried Rice egg, bacon, sausage, onion, broccoli and tomatoes ($16.95), Shrimp Prikking String Bean with sauteed prikking chili , mild sweet, string bean, carrots, red and green peppers, and kaffir lime leaf ($18.95), and Crispy Pan Fried Salmon served with light caramel sauce and truffle oil, romaine lettuce and top with mixed green ($18.95).

They also offer a noodle menu that includes pad thai, curry, and sauteed.

 

On Yelp, Brian S, from Selden, gave it five stars.

 

“Tucked away next to the Home Depot and the AT&T store in Independence Plaza, this new Thai place is just what our community has been missing,” he wrote. “You won't be disappointed!”

 

Kimberly S, from Merrick, agreed.

 

“Lovely little take out spot in Selden,” she said. “It is clean and welcoming, the food is delicious and the owner makes you feel like family. Can't wait to go back!”
