Black Violin
When: Saturday, April 12 at 2:15 p.m.
Where: Flushing Town Hall 137-35 Northern Boulevard, Flushing
Price: $12/$10 Members/$8 Children/$6 Member Children

Kev Marcus and Wil B make up this hip-hop duo that combines together classical music, hip-hop, rock, R&B and bluegrass. They have performed with Alicia Keys, Mike Shinoda, and Gym Class Heroes.  Marcus plays violin while Wil plays viola, this is one innovative group you will definitely want to see.


Shawn Colvin
When: Friday, April 11 at 8 p.m.
Where: The Suffolk Theater 118 East Main St., Riverhead
Price: $45

Shawn Colvin is best known for her 1997 single “Sunny Came Home.” Support this contemporary folk singer; there will be a bar and a la carte menu available throughout the night.


The Mark Wade Trio
When: Friday, April 11 at 8 p.m.
Where: Flushing Town Hall 137-35 Northern Boulevard, Flushing
Price: $15, $10 members

Along with Tim Harrison on piano and Scott Neumann on drums, bassist Mark Wade leads this original jazz group.


Madeleine Peyroux
When: Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m.
Where: Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center 76 Main St., Westhampton Beach
Price: $75 - $95

Considered a modern-day Billie holiday, Madeleine Peyroux is a jazz musician that reworks music from artists such as Ray Charles, Randy Newman, and others.


Twenty One Pilots
When: Tuesday, April 29 7:30 p.m.
Where: The Paramount 370 New York Avenue, Huntington
Price: $25 - $35
The unique musical duo Twenty One Pilots will be playing at the Paramount for their Spring 2014 tour. This piano-driven pop group puts on a great live performance.


Pep & The Soul Explosion Band
When: Four performances throughout the month, see calendar for dates and times.
Where: River House Grille 195 Woodcleft Avenue, Freeport
Price: FREE

Check out this high energy, soul- and funk-influenced band that performs every week at the River House Grill. They cover songs from Stevie Wonder, Ray  Charles, Luther Vandross, Earth Wind & Fire and much more.
