The Special Victims Squad reports the arrest of a Baldwin man for an incident that occurred on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 4:30 pm in Westbury.
According to Detectives, Stephen Vickers-Griffiths, 35, of 844 School Drive, sexually assaulted a 11-year-old female juvenile. The defendant was located at the Pines Motor Lodge, 101 Taylor Avenue, Westbury, and was placed into Police custody without incident. The investigation is ongoing.
Defendant Vickers Griffith is charged with Rape 1st Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Sexual Act 1st Degree, Attempted Criminal Sexual Act 1st Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
