Farmingdale High School Student Signs on with Long Island University Post

Long Island, NY - March 19, 2018 - Farmingdale High School Senior, Briant DeFelice, signed his commitment letter to play football at Long Island University Post with the LIU Post Pioneers. The Pioneers are a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II team. The football team participates in the East Coast Conference and is an affiliate of the Northeast-10 Conference. DeFelice is receiving an academic-athletic scholarship to attend.
 
“Helping students pursue their academic and athletic passions is a core feature of the Farmingdale School District’s educational philosophy, and the District is proud and honored to support Briant’s achievement,” said Farmingdale School District Superintendent John Lorentz. “We are delighted that Briant will be continuing his student-athlete ambitions at college, and we look forward to following his future success.”
 
DeFelice, wearing a LIU Post Pioneers sweatshirt and a Farmingdale High School Dalers football helmet, signed his commitment letter in front of his proud parents, coaches, teachers and Farmingdale High School administrators.
