Nassau County Legislators Davis and Koslow Attend NCPD Departmental Awards Ceremony

Nassau County Legislators Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) and Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) proudly attended the Nassau County Police Department’s 144th Departmental Awards Ceremony, which was recently held at the David S. Mack Center for Training and Intelligence in Uniondale.
 
During the ceremony, 279 members of the Department were recognized for exceptional police work, their heroism in life-saving scenarios, and dedication to the department and the residents they serve.
 
“It was a pleasure to be a part of an event that honors the men and women who make the Nassau County Police Department so outstanding,” Legislator Davis said. “The heroism and exceptional professionalism of these honorees exemplify a steadfast dedication to public service that is at the core of exceptional community policing.”
 
“Hearing so many stories of valor and heroism only served to heighten my tremendous pride in the world-class institution that is the Nassau County Police Department,” Legislator Koslow said. “It was truly an honor to be in the company of so many everyday heroes as they received the recognition they truly deserve.”
