A new Indian food place called Jazeera opened up in February and reviewers are saying the restaurant is warm, inviting and best of all, authentic.

People have been raving about Chicken 65, a deep fried marinated chicken dish with curry leaves and green chili - so named because the meal was invented in 1965. Other popular items include their chicken biryani ($19.99) and the mutton biryani ($22.99).

On Yelp, Krishna Y, gave them five stars calling the food authentic.

“Finally!!! A restaurant serving authentic Hyderabadi biryani that's consistent in flavor and taste,” Krishna said. “On our first to-go, we had biryani and qubani ka meetha to go and both were fantastic.”

Daniele B agreed.

“If I could give 6 stars I would. Hands down some of the best food I have ever eaten,” she wrote. “The service was beyond warm. I felt like we are at home eating with family. 110% recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to go back and try more authentic dishes.”

Location: 37 W John Street, Hicksville.
