Water Safety Awareness Day - Family Event

Saf-T-Swim, New York’s #1 swim school, will host their annual “WATER SAFETY AWARENESS DAY” at all ten Saf-T-Swim locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties on Saturday, May 5th from 11AM until 2PM-rain or shine…

May is National Water Safety Month, and Saf-T-Swim’s goal is to raise public awareness and educate parents and children about water safety in and around the water.
There will be informative presentations from local Police and Fire Departments, US Coast Guard, Red Cross, and Saf-T-Swim Staff, including a special message at the Bohemia location from Saf-T-Swim President, Jim Hazen. Mr. Hazen founded the school in 1984 and has grown the school to currently 10 locations with more than 10,000 students taking swimming lessons each week !

Mr. Hazen’s number one priority is to educate every parent and child about water safety, and he states, “What people learn on May 5th could someday save a life. ”
This fun filled family event will also feature raffles, face painting, free balloons, contests, prizes, and much more, including $100 Dollars in savings for first time registrants who sign up for future swimming lessons on that day.
