I went here all the time as a kid! My favorite was Geoffrey the Giraffe! He was so cool...
If you haven't yet brought your kids over to check out the animal preserve in Holtsville, you are missing out! The Brookhaven's Ecology Site and Wildlife Center has over 100 animals, a petting zoo where you can feed some of the animals, and a park where you can swim, picnic and play.
