SCPD: Two Men Arrested Following North Bellport Hit and Run Crashes

SCPD arrested Pierre Grace of West Hampton Beach, 27, and Rakeem Holland of Bellport, 27, following two hit and run crashes.

North Bellport, NY - August 28, 2018 - Suffolk County Police last night arrested two men following two hit and run crashes in North Bellport.
 
Pierre Grace was driving a 2015 BMW 535i on Station Road, just north of Sunrise Highway, when he crashed the vehicle into two other vehicles, then fled on foot with his passenger Rakeem Holland at approximately 5:18 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they found two loaded handguns in the BMW. One of the handguns was previously reported stolen. Following a foot pursuit, both men were apprehended. The two men were transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where they received medical treatment and were released.
 
Grace, 27, of West Hampton Beach and Holland, 27, of Bellport were arrested and each charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 2nd Degree and one count Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, 4th Degree. They are being held overnight at the Fifth Precinct and are scheduled to be arraigned this morning at First District Court in Central Islip. The investigation is continuing.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
