Suffolk County Police Vehicular Crime Unit detectives are investigating a hit and run crash that critically injured a pedestrian in Coram this morning.

Coram, NY - September 16, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Vehicular Crime Unit detectives are investigating a hit and run crash that critically injured a pedestrian in Coram this morning.

Gary Williams was walking on the right hand shoulder of northbound Mill Road when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Mill Road in Coram at approximately 11 a.m.

Williams, 57, of Coram, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Detectives are looking for a newer-model, dark-colored, 4-door sedan with damage to the windshield and passenger side view mirror.
