Long Island business women are invited to a free networking open house where they'll learn how to keep their body in shape while increasing their brain power. The Independent Business Women's Circle (IBWC), a Long Island/Queens-based group founded 12 years ago by author Robin Gorman Newman will host the event which features guest speaker
Vinod Somareddy, DPT, exercise physiologist and owner of Reddy Care Physical Therapy in Great Neck. Vinod will discuss mind-body exercise techniques that will help energize you and your business.

"Most of us know exercise has enormous health benefits for the body but few of us realize the effect it has on our mental faculties," says IBWC program director Karen Bomzer. "Studies show exercise has the amazing ability to boost creativity and increase productivity. That's good news for working women. If you've been a couch potato lately, join us at our meeting and become motivated to move!"

Because it's an open house where you'll meet the members and learn what the organization is about, admission is free and a buffet lunch is included. It will be held at Brandywine at the Savoy, 55-15 Little Neck Parkway in Little Neck, right off the LIE. To learn more call Karen at 631.754.6640 or visit www.ibwc.org.
