Sledding and skiing are common winter activities that many people think of doing this time of year. Additionally, winter would be nothing without ice skating! As romantic and whimsical as ice skating outside, the frigid breezes can be a bit too much to handle. Luckily, Long Island has many great indoor ice skating opportunities.
What is great about these indoor ice rinks are that they are open all year for your enjoyment. Many rinks offer skate rental and lessons for those who do not know how. Many of the indoor rinks also offer recreational hockey teams or league to participate in. Additionally, ice skating events go on all year, including family night and adult night.
