The entertainment begins with Street Festivals and Craft Fairs. From seasonal baked goods to rides and games, Long Island's festivals provide memorable fun for all ages.

Things are only getting started, however, as plenty of Concerts & Performances will be held during the month to have you swaying to the beat of the music. Still have some energy left after dancing the night away? Grab your running shoes and head to a local charity run to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Not only will you be helping to raise money for a great cause, but you'll be able to spend a morning walking or running at a stunning local beach/park! Plus, there are plenty of other Outdoor Activities to enjoy this month as well, including guided hikes, bike rides, and nature walks.

And just when you began to think that the fun was waning, the last day of the month brings Halloween! With haunted houses, corn mazes, and trick-or-treating events to attend, the spooky thrills will be taking place all month long!

So without further ado, grab your planner and check out the October Guide below and plan for a month of fall fun!
