AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM SATURDAY TO 11 PM SATURDAY The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an air quality health advisory for the following counties: Suffolk and Nassau. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an air quality index value of 100 for ozone. The air quality index, or A Q I, was created as an easy way to correlate levels of different pollutants to one scale. The higher the A Q I value, the greater the health concern. When pollution levels are elevated, the New York State Department of Health recommends limiting strenuous outdoor physical activity to reduce the risk of adverse health effects. People who may be especially sensitive to the effects of elevated levels of pollutants include the very young, and those with pre existing respiratory problems such as asthma or heart disease. Those with symptoms should consider consulting a physician. NCPD are seeking Cassanova Watson, 13, a missing juvenile from Syosset.

Syosset, NY - December 29, 2017 - The Missing Persons Squad is investigating a missing juvenile that occurred on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 4:10 p.m. in Syosset.
 
According to detectives, Cassanova Watson, 13, was last seen at the Mercy First facility, 525 Convent Rd. Missing is described as a male black, 5’3”, 102 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His clothing description is unknown. His destination is unknown.
 
NOTE: Cassanova Watson had previously been reported missing and then found by authorities earlier this week.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above listed missing juvenile to contact the Nassau County Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
