Coastal Flood Statement issued December 13 at 5:33PM EST until December 14 at 2:00PM EST by NWS Upton NY * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...Southwestern Suffolk, Southeastern Suffolk and Northeastern Suffolk Counties. * WHEN...During the times of high tide Saturday morning through Saturday afternoon. * COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. * SHORELINE IMPACTS...Breaking surf of 9 to 13 ft along the Atlantic Ocean beachfront will cause significant beach flooding and erosion during the times of high tide Saturday into Saturday Night. Scattered areas of dune erosion and localized washovers are possible during the times of high tide Saturday morning into afternoon.

CANCELLED - Teen Reported Missing from Syosset Group Home, According to Authorities

Cassanova Watson, 13, was last seen at the Mercy First facility on Tuesday, December 26.

NCPD are seeking Cassanova Watson, 13, a missing juvenile from Syosset.

UPDATE - December 28, 2017 - Police report that Cassanova Watson has been located.

Syosset, NY - December 27, 2017 - The Missing Persons Squad is investigating a missing juvenile that occurred on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in Syosset.
According to detectives, Cassanova Watson, 13, was last seen at the Mercy First facility, 525 Convent Road at 3:30 p.m.  Missing is described as a male black, 5’ 3”, 102 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt with a green jacket. His destination is unknown.
NOTE: Cassanova Watson was previously reported missing and later found by authorities in November 2017.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this missing juvenile to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
