NCPD Investigating Christmas Eve Robbery

A Payless store in Nassau was robbed on Christmas Eve.

Oceanside, NY - December 24, 2013 - The Fourth Precinct is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 3:10 p.m. in Oceanside.
According to detectives,  a 40 year old female cashier,  while working at Payless Shoes, located at 3170 Long Beach Road was approached by a male white subject, 30-40 years of age, 5’5” tall, approximately 170 lbs, with a blond mustache, wearing a black ski cap, black jacket and blue jeans. The subject had one hand concealed in a plastic bag which may have contained a weapon. He demanded the victim to open her register and give him the cash.  The victim complied and the subject fled on foot southbound on Long Beach Road with an unknown amount of U.S. currency. There were no injuries reported.
