SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Using Stolen Credit Cards in Bay Shore & Deer Park

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used stolen credit cards in Bay Shore and Deer Park this month.

Bay Shore, NY - December 3rd 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used stolen credit cards in Bay Shore and Deer Park this month.

A man used stolen credit cards at various locations in Deer Park and Bay Shore. The credit cards had been stolen during a residential burglary on Atlantic Avenue in East Islip on November 20. The man who used the credit cards was described as white, unshaven, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds.

He was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, a black jacket, a black and gray baseball cap and black sneakers. He was possibly driving a 2007 or 2008 white 4-door Ford Fusion. The attached photograph is of a similar vehicle.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
