In New York, Southern Westchester, Northwestern Suffolk and Northern Nassau Counties. * WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, from 11 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Thursday. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, from noon to 2 PM EDT Thursday. * COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Expect around 1 to 1 1/2 feet of inundation above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns and homes/businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding. * SHORELINE IMPACTS...Breaking waves of 2 to 3 ft along the south shore of Connecticut may result in beach erosion and wave splashover during the times of high tide Thursday.

Lynbrook Man Nabbed for Selling Marijuana on Craigslist

Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives report the arrest of a Brooklyn man for criminal sale and possession of marijuana that occurred in Lynbrook on Sunday, 11/30/14 at 10:20 P.M.

Lynbrook, NY - December 1st, 2014 - Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives report the arrest of a Brooklyn man for criminal sale and possession of marijuana that occurred in Lynbrook on Sunday, 11/30/14 at 10:20 P.M.

According to detectives, an undercover detective responded to a Craigslist advertisement for medical marijuana and made arrangements to purchase a half ounce of ‘Grade a Sour Diesel’. James Petrillo, 31, of Bayridge Ave., met with the detective in the parking lot of 490 Sunrise Hwy. and handed him a bag of Marijuana in exchange for cash.  The defendant was placed under arrest.

Petrillo is being charged with Criminal Sale Marijuana 4th Degree and Criminal Possession Marijuana 5th Degree. He was released on a Desk Appearance Ticket and will be arraigned on Wednesday, 12/10/14 in First District Court, Hempstead.
