Man Wanted for Shoplifting from Islandia Walmart

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole merchandise from an Islandia store.

Islandia, NY - November 12th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole merchandise from an Islandia store.

A man entered Walmart, located at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway, and stole electronics on September 26, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m. The stolen items have a value of approximately $375.  The man fled to a waiting dark gray Ford van.  The same man stole merchandise from this store on September 24 and fled store in same vehicle.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
