Officials: Bicyclist Killed in Wyandanch Motor Vehicle Crash

SCPD are investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist in Wyandanch.

Wyandanch, NY - November 1, 2018 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist in Wyandanch on Wednesday, October 31.
 
Alcides Membreno-Vigil was riding a bicycle on Grand Boulevard when he was struck by a 2014 Dodge Ram near the intersection of Deer Street at approximately 7:30 a.m.
 
Membreno-Vigil, 39, of Wyandanch, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Dodge, Kevin Coyle, 30, was not injured.
