A new soul food spot opened in West Babylon recently and people are saying it is the real deal.
Offering both take out and delivery, Angie’s Soul House has a rotating menu and the owner’s motto is "You crave it, I make it!"

The menu is full of goodness. Choose from a variety of egg rolls like cheesesteak, jerk chicken, shrimp, and vegetable, or try the jumbo crab cakes, deviled eggs and bruschetta with toasted garlic bread. Entrees change every day but catch some favorites like the jumbo wings, stew oxtail, honey garlic lamb chops and the brown sugar bourbon ribs.
On Yelp, Gail B, from Deer Park, said that the soul food from Angie’s rivals southern restaurants.
“Thank you Angie for opening up a soul food take-out joint in Suffolk County,” she said. “No longer do I have to travel down South to get some authentic Southern food.”
Demishia O, from Bay Shore, agreed.
“Delicious soul food to go. All 3 meals were good,” she wrote. “This is a black owned business located in West Babylon. The owner and staff are nice. You won't be disappointed if you like soul food.”
