Massapequa, NY - October 6th, 2013 - Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives report the details of four arrests for illegal massage and bribery that occurred in Massapequa on Saturday, 10/05/13 at 3:30 P.M.
According to detectives, Yuan Bo Shen, 35, of 137-40 45th St.; Ying Bo Liu, 41, and Xiao Hua Gu, 31, both of 136-29 Cherry Ave., all from Flushing, performed massages on undercover detectives and a male witness at 505 Hicksville Rd., for an undisclosed amount of cash. The defendants are not licensed to practice massage therapy. Additionally, shortly thereafter, Hong Xie, 44, of 4190 Frame Place, Flushing, approached the detectives in the parking lot, identified herself as the boss, and offered to pay an undisclosed amount of cash monthly to operate her massage business without interference from police and additional cash to have the women just arrested released.
Shen, Liu, and Gu are each being charged with Unauthorized Practice of Profession. Xie is being charged with Bribery 3rd, Public Servant. All four defendants will be arraigned on Sunday, 10/06/13 in First District Court, Hempstead.
