The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a dense fog advisory, which is in effect until 4 am EST Tuesday. * Visibilities...one quarter mile or less at times. * Timing...into the early morning hours on Tuesday. * Impacts...limited visibilities will make travel very difficult. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to one quarter mile or less. If driving...slow down...use your low beam headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed. Centereach, NY - October 4, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who burglarized a Centereach restaurant earlier last month. 
 
A man broke into Golden Buffet, located at 141 Centereach Mall, and stole money and beer on September 3 at approximately 3:20 a.m.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
