Islip, NY - Sept. 17, 2018 - On Sunday September 16th, 2018 at approximately 12:46 a.m. Troopers pulled over a vehicle for speeding on the Sagtikos Parkway southbound near exit 3 in the Town of Islip.
Investigation revealed the driver, Evan Lieberman of Dix Hills, New York, was in possession of marijuana and cocaine.
Lieberman was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (Violation) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th (Felony) Lieberman was held for morning arraignment on Monday, September 17th in Suffolk County First District Court.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
