NCPD reports the arrest of Kevin G. Lopez-Morales of Roosevelt, 20, for Homicide.

Roosevelt, NY - Sept. 7, 2018 - The Homicide Squad reports the arrest of Kevin G. Lopez-Morales, 20, of Roosevelt in connection with a Homicide that was discovered on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 8:35 A.M. in Roosevelt.
 
According to detectives, the body of a male was discovered buried in a wooded area of the Roosevelt Preserve. Subsequent investigation has deemed the death a criminal homicide.
 
Detectives have identified the deceased as Josue Amaya Leonor, 19, of Roosevelt. The investigation is ongoing.
 
Lopez-Morales is being charged with 2 counts of Murder 2nd Degree, the second charge for murder is for Angel Soler, 16, of Roosevelt. He will be arraigned on Friday, September 7, 2018 in First District Court, Hempstead.
