ATM Machine Removed From West Hempstead Barber Shop, According To Authorities

West Hempstead, NY - Sept. 7, 2018 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Burglary that occurred in West Hempstead on Friday, September 07, 2018 at 1:30 am.
 
According to Burglary Pattern Detectives, a 31 year old male employee that works at the JX Cutz barber shop located at 376 Woodfield Road observed that the front door lock had been tampered with and unknown suspect(s) had entered. Fifth Precinct police were called and responded.
 
An investigation revealed that two unknown suspects did enter and were observed removing an ATM machine and a black money box both containing an undetermined amount of US currency. Both suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and jeans. Both suspects left on foot in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
