North Bellport, NY - August 28, 2018 - Detectives with the Suffolk County SPCA charged a North Bellport woman with animal cruelty on Monday, August 27, 2018.
 
Paige Warner, 27, was charged with one count of cruelty to animals for neglecting Jackson, her 5 year old male pitbull. Jackson, who is severely underweight and suffering from a skin condition, had not received necessary veterinary care.
 
Jackson was immediately transported to an emergency animal hospital by Brookhaven Animal Control for medical treatment.
 
Warner is scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on October 20, 2018.
