Enjoy a night of comedy to benefit PULSE Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy!

Bellmore, NY - August 23, 2016 - On September 18 at 6:30 p.m., supporters of patient safety will gather at the Brokerage Comedy Club at 2797 Merrick Road in Bellmore for a night of comedy to benefit PULSE Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy, a Wantagh based patient safety and advocacy organization. Showtime is 7:30.

Patient safety is no laughing matter. Medical errors are the 3rd leading cause of death in the country. PULSE’s mission is to raise awareness about patient safety through advocacy, education, and support.

“Medical literacy and communication are critical to assuring that we all get the care we need,” said Sima Matthes, one of the organizers from Rockville Centre, Long Island. “PULSE has helped me learn not only how to advocate effectively for my family, but how to help others do the same. I’m proud of the work they do, and happy to support them.”

Tickets are $20 each plus a two drink minimum. There is a full dinner menu and raffle prizes. Tickets can be ordered by calling (516) 579-4711 or online.
