Last year, Martha Stewart put her East Hampton home up for sale. She fetched $16.5 million for the home she has owned since 1990, almost double the asking price of $8.4 million, according to House Beautiful magazine.
But this apparently was not the last Stewart has seen of the Hamptons scene. This summer, the media maven was seen dining at Springs Tavern and Grill, a new spot from Alex Rossi - who took over the similarly named The Springs Tavern this summer.
Might Stewart, who recently opened her first restaurant in Las Vegas, have been doing some reconnaissance?
Whatever the reason, it seems that Stewart just can’t stay away from the East End of Long Island even after selling her home here. Who can blame her?
