Sea Cliff, NY - July 16th, 2014 - Third Squad detectives report the arrest of a Glen Cove man for petit larcenies to autos that occurred in Sea Cliff on 06/26/14 at 1:00 A.M.
According to detectives, Taylor Steed, 18, of 29 Chadwick St., entered four unlocked unoccupied vehicles parked on Altamount Ave., Cromwell Place, Dubois Ct., and Irving Place, removing cash, electronics, clothing and an air compressor.
Bureau of Special Operations police officers located the defendant on Glen Cove Ave./Walnut Ave. in Glen Head on Tuesday, 07/15/14 and placed him under arrest.
Steed is being charged with four counts of Petit Larceny and will be arraigned on Wednesday, 07/16/14 in First District Court, Hempstead.
