MELVILLE, NY – June 28th, 2013 Financial Attorney Leslie Tayne, Esq. of Melville-based Law Offices of Leslie H. Tayne P.C. was recently appointed Vice Chair of Nassau County Bar Association’s Attorneys & Accountants Committee.

In serving as Vice Chair, Tayne, a Nassau County Bar Association member since March 2011, is working to support the Committee’s mission in promoting the exchange of information between attorneys and accountants while building a strong referral network among today’s legal and accounting professionals.”

“With the client quality of service and positive outcomes now often dependent on attorneys and accountants closely working together and sharing information, it is important that we promote and foster greater communication and dialog between these two complementing industries,” explains Tayne. “I am proud to have the opportunity to be playing an integral role in supporting this important working partnership and dynamic through my new role as Vice Chair of Nassau County Bar Association’s Attorneys and Accountants Committee.”

Beyond serving as Nassau County Bar Association’s Attorneys & Accountants Committee Vice Chair, Tayne is a regular volunteer with Nassau County Bar Association’s Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic and also works with several other organizations. She is currently a board member of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County and is Vice President of the Work and Family Committee for Long Island Women’s Agenda. Additionally, she is also a routine volunteer puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation of Smithtown, where she cares for and trains puppies that eventually become service dogs for people in need, and actively contributes time to the Family Services League of Huntington’s Debt Counseling Division.
