Smithtown, NY - June 27, 2014 - Sally Economou of Smithtown was chosen as the Suffolk County Senior Citizen of the Year and presented with her award at the annual senior celebration luncheon. Ms. Economou has been volunteering with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for 18 years and is very involved with the telephone reassurance program.
