A Suffolk County police officer and two Rocky Point Fire Department paramedics recently assisted a woman deliver a baby boy at her Rocky Point home.
 
Seventh Precinct Police Officer Jason Famoso responded to a 911 call reporting a woman in labor at her home on Nautilus Drive. When Officer Famoso and Rocky Point Fire Department Paramedics Kim Pokorny and Nick Pobat arrived, Courtney Montanez was in labor in the hallway and they assisted her in the delivery of a baby boy.
 
Montanez, 30, and her son were transported to St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson in good condition.
