60-Year-Old Man Assaulted, Carjacked in Front of Elmont Residence, Cops Say

Three unknown male subjects pulled the victim out of his car, threw him to the ground, and began to kick and punch the victim causing minor injuries.

The Fifth Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 5:40 a.m. in Elmont.
 
According to Detectives, a 60-year-old male victim was entering his vehicle in front of his residence on Fieldmere Street when three unknown male subjects pulled him out of his car. The subjects threw him to the ground then began to kick and punch the victim causing minor injuries. 
 
One subject entered the victim’s gray 2022 Honda CRV and the additional two subjects entered their black 2011-2019 Toyota Camry. Both of the vehicles fled southbound on Fieldmere Street towards 106th Avenue. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. There is no further description of the subjects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
