Suspect Wanted for Mugging Man at Patchogue ATM

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who forced another man to withdraw money from a Patchogue bank.

Patchogue, NY - December 11th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who forced another man to withdraw money from a Patchogue bank.

A man forced another man to withdraw $1,500 from his bank account at Chase Bank, located at 115 East Main St., on November 8, 2014 at approximately 10 a.m. The suspect threatened to injure the victim if he did not comply, however no weapon was displayed.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who was wearing a black jacket with gray sleeves and a gray hoodie, sunglasses and a white baseball cap with a black lion design.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
