SCPD are investigating a vehicle crash that injured a teenager in Kings Park.

Kings Park, NY - June 5, 2018 - Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that critically injured a teenager in Kings Park on Monday, June 4, 2018.
 
An 18-year-old Kings Park man was in the parking lot of Key Food, located at 66 Indian Head Rd., when he was struck by a 2001 Lexus sedan driven by an 18-year-old Kings Park woman at approximately 10 p.m.
 
The victim was transported by Kings Park Rescue ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital where he is in critical condition. The driver was not injured and remained at the scene.
 
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
