SCPD Arrested 4 During a Operation Targeting Alcohol and Drug Impaired Drivers in Patchogue Village

Suffolk County Police arrested four people during a special saturation patrol operation targeting alcohol and drug impaired drivers in the Patchogue Village area Friday night and Saturday morning.

Suffolk County Police arrested four people during a special saturation patrol operation targeting alcohol and drug impaired drivers in the Patchogue Village area Friday night and Saturday morning.

 

Officers from the Highway Patrol Bureau targeted multiple roadways leading in and out of Patchogue Village for offenses that involved driving a motor vehicle while ability impaired by alcohol, drugs, or a combination of both. The operation involved the use of several Drug Recognition Experts (DRE), officers who are specially trained at identifying drug impaired drivers. The saturation enforcement was part of ongoing Memorial Day holiday crackdown operations targeting alcohol and drug impaired driving. 

 

Christopher Miller, 26, of 57 Silver Road, Mastic Beach, and Jake Delloiacono, 27, of 272 Edward Ave., Medford, were charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

 

Victor Lituma Vicuna, 27, of 16 Bow Oarsman Rd., East Hampton, was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

 

Michael Morlock, 29, of 7 Furrow Place, Miller Place, was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Combined Alcohol and Drugs.

 

All of the above arrestees are being held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on May 28.
