Riverhead, NY - March 31, 2014 - That is the theme of The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming breakfast meeting, Eggs & Issues on April 10, 2014. No green eggs and ham but a celebration of Earth Day with a presentations on how to keep our businesses and town clean as well as some simple steps to go green in the office.
 
Geo Woodson, Riverhead Town Highway Superintendent will present “Spring Cleaning Your Property & Show Pride in Where You Live” and Erica Wells, Business Green Energy Consultant, will present “Easy Steps to Go Green in the Office”.
 
Surrounded by 22 acres of fragrant gardens and farmland, Jedediah Hawkins Inn & Restaurant is a luxurious North Fork boutique hotel, celebrated for its history, genuine hospitality, good food and good wine. The restaurant pays tribute to the North Fork’s agricultural bounty and acclaimed wines and microbrews. Herbs and produce from their kitchen garden, eggs from their chickens and the freshest local sea food contribute to delicious and unpretentious farm to table fare.
 
Presentations begin over breakfast at 8:00am on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Jedediah Hawkins Inn located at 400 South Jamesport Avenue, Jamesport, NY.
