Update: Detectives Searching for Robber in Old Bethpage

Update - March 20, 0216 - This suspect is wanted in connection with three additional Robberies in the following locations.
  • 03/01/16 Dunkin Donuts 2062 Lakeview Road New Hyde Park at 11:20pm
  • 03/02/16 Dunkin Donuts 156 Manetto Hill Road Plainview at 9:25pm
  • 03/14/16 Dunkin Donuts 1068 Old Country Road Plainview at 11:20pm

Old Bethpage, NY - March 17, 2016 - The Major Case Bureau reports a Robbery which occurred on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 12:30 A.M. in Old Bethpage.
 
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a male black, approximately 25 years of age, 5’ 8” tall, 170 pounds wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark hat, dark sunglasses, a dark bandanna covering his face, dark gloves and baggy blue jeans entered the 7-11 store located at 758 Old Bethpage Road armed with a large kitchen knife.  He approached the employee at the counter and demanded money. The victim complied giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot northbound on Old Bethpage Road. The employee was alone in the store at the time of the incident.  No injuries were reported.
