Kolachi Opens in Elmont

Kolachi, a newly opened restaurant in Elmont is serving up food from Pakistan, Afghanistan and India. One of their most popular menu items, according to Seamless.com is their kolachi seekh combo special, made of two skewers of chicken or beef and served with rice and salad ($20). They also have a lamb chop special that comes with four pieces and served with rice and salad ($23.75).

 

Appetizers include kolachi fries with shaved lamb truffles ($13.75), chana chat, a light chickpea salad ($7.50), and mantu dumplings ($8.75).

 

On Yelp, Mahmoud A, from the Bronx said the food there is amazing.

 

“I recommend this restaurant for everyone who loves Afghan food,” he wrote.
 

Hassan S. from, New York, NY agreed.

 

“Newly opened I've tried they're [sic] biryani and kababs...” he said. “You do need to wait about 15-20 mins since they make everything to order but definitely worth the wait.would definitely recommend.”
