The Cone Depot Food Truck Rolls into Copiague

Last fall, a new food truck rolled into Copiague, serving up their menu of warm waffle cones with either popcorn chicken, Philly cheesesteak, popcorn shrimp, or a plant based nuggets, then topped with syrup, barbecue sauce, a dry rub, buffalo sauce, or cheese sauce.

 

The Cone Depot joins the fleet of new food trucks that had become popular over the last few years. Especially in the age of take-out during Covid-19. Food trucks fill a niche for foodies.

 

The website says that the owners specialize in a  variety of waffle cones that are “fresh and cooked per order to your liking.”

 

“Whether you have a taste for something sweet and savory or moist and crunchy, the cone depot will be able to satisfy your needs,” they say on the site. “Serving a selection of homemade sauces that are a great touch to your cone, our menu consists of unique delicious comfort food served with a twist and made with soul.”

 

On Yelp, Lenny B, from Amity Harbor, said that “The Cone Depot is awesome.”

 

“I was intrigued at first by the new concept, but the delicious food keeps me coming back,” he wrote. The staff is always friendly and professional.”

 

JayShawn C, of Wyandanch, raved.

 

“I gave this company five stars because the service is great the food is excellent and it's just a wonderful place to go and eat,” he wrote.
