Long Island, NY - January 29, 2017 - Senator John E. Brooks, with VFW Post # 2912 of Wheatley Heights, held a Veterans Job and Resource Fair on Friday, January 26, at Dominican Village in Amityville. Dozens of employers were onsite, looking to hire, as well as agencies and organizations offering important information and resources for veterans.
 
Senator Brooks said, “Our veterans are important members of our community that offer significant, valuable life and work skills to employers and organizations. I thank the companies, the agencies and the people who recognize our veterans’ attributes and contribute to expanding opportunities for veterans, their families, and our local economy.”
