SCPD are seeking the public’s help to locate the man who stole money from a man in Huntington Station.

Huntington Station, NY - January 4, 2017 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole money from an employee of a Huntington Station restaurant in November.
 
A man entered a sushi restaurant, located at 340 W Jericho Turnpike, on November 16 at approximately 3 p.m. and offered to sell four iPhone X’s to an employee for $2000. The employee paid the suspect for the phones, but was given a box that did not contain any phones. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early 30s with a thin build.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
