Three Queens Men Arrested by NCPD for Credit Card Fraud

Garden City, NY - January 2nd, 2014 - The Third Squad reports the arrests of three Queens men for Grand Larceny that occurred in Garden City on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 4:10 pm.

According to detectives, a security officer working for Bloomingdales located at 630 Old Country Road recognized the defendants Sahibvir S. Johal, 20, of 13545 125th Street, South Ozone Park, Jaleel Warren 22, of 11468 200th Street, St. Albans and Rhashaan Watson, 22, of 10828 Liverpool Street, Jamaica as the same people who made multiple purchases in the past using fraudulent credit cards. All three defendants were observed making additional purchases using different credit cards as payment. Total value of all purchases made by the three defendants was $ 9349.00. An additional $ 97,566.00 in fraudulent purchases was made on 12/12/13 and 12/13/13. All three defendants were placed into police custody without incident. Rhashaan Watson was found to be in possession of 8 additional fraudulent credit cards. Sahibvir Johal was found to be in possession of an out of state driver’s license not belonging o him.

Sahibvir S. Johal is charged with two counts of Grand Larceny 2nd Degree, Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, Conspiracy 3rd Degree, and Defraud 1st Degree.

Rhashaan Watson is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, three counts Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, Conspiracy 3rd Degree, Defraud 1st Degree. Jaleel Warren is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, Conspiracy 3rd Degree, and Defraud 1st Degree.

All three defendants will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday, January 02, 2014.
