One of the first 100 golf courses in America, this 18-hole private club was formed in 1890. The course was designed by Seth Raynor in 1914 and rebuilt in 1989. It measures 6,457 yards from the longest tees and gives golfers three options from which to play. The par value is 70 with a rating of 72.7 and a slope of 134. Walking is allowed and caddies are available on this scenic course that overlooks the beautiful and restless Atlantic Ocean. While the course has seen improvements, its old-world charm and distinction have been preserved. The original green contours have been preserved, creating unique and interesting plays on very fast greens. Water hazards affect nine holes. Amenities include the Pro shop, driving range, equipment rental, teaching professional, full bar, snack bar and restaurant. The club is open year-round.
