This 18-hole private golf course was designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1912. It measures 6,160 yards from its longest tees and has a par 71 value. The rating is 70.4 and the slope is 126. Golfers may play the course from three different sets of tees. Even with renovations, the course has retained its older links style. The terrain is basically flat with narrow fairways, small and tricky greens and a wind factor that makes every game a little more interesting. Members can enjoy amenities such as the services of the on-site teaching pro, caddies, the Pro shop, equipment rental, the 40-tee driving range and food services at the full bar, snack bar or restaurant. North Fork Country Club is open from April through mid-September.
