Part of the amenities for a retirement community, this 9-hole private golf course opened in 1971. The yearly maintenance fees include the greens fees. The par-3 course is slightly hilly and free of water hazards or bunkers. Walking is allowed on the Bent grass course. While the holes are on the short side, they are challenging and a test of skill for all abilities. The grounds and playing areas are well-maintained, creating an attractive landscape for an enjoyable golfing experience. Walking is allowed. Both men and women use the same tees. Leisure Village has several leagues, including men’s and women’s groups and morning and afternoon sessions. New members are always welcome. Aside from these regularly scheduled events, neither tee times nor reservations are normally required to play a round or just to get some practicing in. The dress code is minimal. The golf course is open daily from April through November.
