Wantagh Man Accused of Firing Stolen Handguns at Neighbor's Garage, According to Authorities

NCPD reports the arrest of Rocko Fox of Wantagh, 20, for Burglary and Criminal Mischief that occurred on July 13.

Wantagh, NY - August 22, 2017 - The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Wantagh man for Burglary and Criminal Mischief that occurred on July 13, 2017 between 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm in Levittown and July 14, 2017 at 10:35 pm in Wantagh respectively.
 
According to detectives, a male victim contacted police on August 21, 2017 that he found bullet holes in his garage door frame located at Sarah Drive, Wantagh. A fellow neighbor had video showing defendant Rocko Fox, 20, shooting a handgun towards the victim’s garage on July 14, 2017.  
 
Detectives conducted a consent search of the defendant’s home and recovered a locking mechanism safe which match the description of a safe stolen on July 13, 2017 from a Knoll Lane, Levittown residence. Two (2) semi-automatic handguns were inside the stolen safe. Defendant Rocko was placed under arrest on August 21, 2017 at 11:40 pm. The hand guns were not recovered. 
 
Defendant Rocko is being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at First District Court, Hempstead.
