Who: Brentwood Gardens Community Organization, an all-volunteer organization that advocates the rights of Brentwood, NY residents to live in a community of empowerment and ownership.

What: Join Brentwood Gardens Community Organization for a celebratory ribbon cutting to mark the official opening of Brentwood Gardens. Invited guests include Town of Islip Supervisor Phil Nolan, Legislator Ricardo Montano, Legislator Thomas Barraga, Assemblyman Philip Ramos, and Iman Marghoob from Stony Brook Community Roots Program.

This is a very special occasion for the residents of Brentwood Gardens who received a min-grant from Stony Brook Community Roots Program to form a community garden. Many residents volunteered months of their time to create an inviting place where they can come together and build strong community ties.

After the ceremony, the media and guests are invited to tour the garden and enjoy complimentary refreshments and food.

Where: Brentwood Gardens is located on the corner of MacArthur Avenue and McNair Street in Brentwood, N.Y.
