There's a new place to enjoy java with friends and family. The former R.S. Jones restaurant in Merrick is back as RS Beanery Coffee & Cocktails. This warm and welcoming spot on the corner of Merrick Ave. and W. Loines Ave. offers regular coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccino, cold brew, specialty coffee drinks and more made from beans from all over the world. The beans are roasted locally and freshly ground on-site.
RS Beanery also serves baked goods and sweet treats from muffins and Key lime pie to pecan pie and bundt cake, as well as lunch bites including paninis, wraps, salads, and sliders. Some of the items are unique favorites carried over from the R.S. Jones menu.
Currently, RS Beanery Coffee & Cocktails is open Monday - Saturday, 6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Guests can savor and sip their cups of joe inside or in the inviting outdoor patio space. As for the cocktails? Stay tuned – the cafe is waiting for its liquor license and plans to serve craft beer, wine, and yes, cocktails, and will be expanding its operating hours.
